There are days where you can’t even remember what you type because the keys disappear due to your amazing speed. The word counts soar, and you feel on top of the world.
Then there are days where the effort of writing one sentence takes all of your creativity out of you, and you’re left with a subterranean word count. It could be any number of reasons why, but the end is still the same. I had that day yesterday.
Yeah, yesterday was going to suck. I’m glad I got as much as I could, because I only had a little over an hour writing time. Today’s shaping up to be a little bit better, but I hate being behind. Perhaps after church tonight I’ll get some more writing in.
I did end up introducing a new character last night, which surprised me. I wasn’t expecting for it to be this early in the game. The good thing right now is that I’m getting more and more brainstorming ideas. I’m hoping that I’m inevitably building a roadmap to draw this story together. I’ve also set the stage for two minor characters to do some traveling, so we’ll get to see more of the world later on.
So, I need help with a name. What would be a good name for a female boxer-turned-bouncer, who loves to dance to techno, and wants to settle down with more than just a pet cat?

Hmmm… I like Ava and Brooklyn. Maybe I could play with the spelling of Brooklyn, or separate it to Brooke Lynn or something. Thanks!
